Dog Behavior Problem - Digging
Digging is a highly enjoyable and natural dog activity.
If your dog loves digging, provide him with his own digging pit just as parents would provide their child with a sand box. Take some of his favorite dog toys and let him watch you make a fuss over burying them. Call your dog over and help him dig things up.
Once your dog understands that digging in his pit is an acceptable and enjoyable activity, you can teach him that digging elsewhere is forbidden. The first step is to teach your dog to stay completely off the flower and vegetable gardens.

Dangerous Behavior Problem - Chasing
Chasing is an hazardous dog behavior problem. Moving objects stimulate the dogs predatory nature and cause the dog to chase. Until you have learned to control your dogs chasing instinct, do not let him off-leash. It is dangerous for the dog and the object he is chasing.
If your dog is chasing cars, do a 'NO' exercise as a friend repeatedly drives by. It's important that you practice this in a set-up situation. The driver must be aware of the training so he/she can stop the car immediately should you lose control over your dog.
